Help improve vision due to all the Vitamin A that is supplied in vegetables.  Other benefits of eating vegetables are folate, iron, fiber, and Vitamin C.
 
What foods represent the Vegetable Group?
 Broccoli, Spinach, Carrots, Cauliflower, Lettuce, Green Peas, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Leafy Greens, Corn, Potatoes
 
Suggested servings are:
1/2 cup cooked or raw vegetables; 1 cup leafy raw vegetables, 3/4 cup vegetable juice
 
Be sure to get at least 3-5 servings from the Vegetable Group daily.
